Geelong's Model Rookies Release As Sexy Swimsuit Starlets
And now the part-time stuntwoman, visual arts teacher and martial arts black-belt is launching a new glamour calendar showcasing local talent.

For two years Ms Baker courted local models, organised photoshoots and even travelled to China to monitor the print quality of the 18-month colour calendar simply titled Rookie .

The finished product arrived on Monday and features a distinct Geelong flavour with local photography, styling and production.

Shoot locations include local beaches, bushland, clubs and even a golf course and laundromat.

Also most of the models hail from the bay city. Ms Baker said she even hired women she met on the street and in pubs to become swimsuit starlets.

``We were sitting down eating lunch on Pakington St and we approached (one of the models, Natalie),'' she said.

``She was a bit shy at the beginning but she came around.''

Ms Baker decided to showcase home-grown beauty after working as a model, a visual arts teacher and a Hollywood studio stuntwoman in Melbourne.

With so many strings to her bow, Ms Baker said future stuntwork was still a major ambition.

``I've been training in martial arts for a while,'' she said.

``I've got most of my (stunt) licences and now I'm just trying to put it all together.''

Rookie will be on sale in Geelong within days and officially launched at Lt Malop St's Beavs Bar on November 24.
